Stress = Force/Area => 1000/3.14*0.02*0.02 => 0.1273 N/m^2
For strain there should be Young’s Modulus constant provided.
and hence the compresion.
So letting the Young modukus be Y,
strain = stresss/Y => 0.1273/Y.
