A vehicle is moving at a speed of 36km/hr on a banked road of radius 20m & coefficient of friction is 0.4. What will be the possible speeds of vehicle for which it will neither skid up nor slip down?

Condition for velocity to never slip never skid is:
V = root(rg ( tanthetha – u)/(1 + utantetha))
  putting values for u = 0.4 ,
r = 20 m
and thetha = arctan(v^2/rg) = > 0.5
we get,
V  =  14.7 km/hr. approx.
