Here in this case the force F applied on the uniform bar of mass m and it translates making an angle θ with the vertical .
Therefore the force F makes angle (90 –\theta) with the horizontal .
Now we know that the bar is moving so let the acceleration of the bar is "a" with which it is moving
Now from the Newton's second law of motion we can write that,
F cos (90 –\theta) = ma
F sin\theta = ma
F = ma/ sin\theta
= ma cosec\theta
