A system is shown in figure. All contact surfaces are smooth and string is tight & inextensible. Wedge‘A’ moves towards right with speed 10 m/s & velocity of ‘B’ relative to ‘A’ is in downward direction alongthe incline having magnitude 5m/s. Find the horizontal and vertical component of velocity of Block ‘C’.

Horizontal component of velocity is 14m/sec and vertical component of velocity is 26m/sec since their is a single rope will give it`s own velocity to the block `C` and the block `B` itself moves down with a vertical velocity of 4 m/sec will add up to form 14 m/sec. Similarly block moves with velocity of 10 m/sec and block `C` moves with 3 m/sec horizontal component adds up 2 times to form a velocity of 26 m/sec I have used string constrained to calculate velocity.
