So here moi of square plate about its centre perpendicular to its plane is ML^2/6. And then by parallel axis theorem we find moi about one corner perpendicular to its plane is ML^2/6 + M(5L^2/4). ,where distance of vertex from centre of plate is √5L/2.But axis makes 15° with horizontal , then we have to divide this moi by sin15°. Then our fin al answer be (17ML^2/12)/sin15° , which is (17√2ML^2)/6(√3-1).
