A smooth wedge A is fitted in a chamber hanging from a fixed ceiling near the earth’s surface. A block B is placed at the top of the wedge taking a time T to slide down the length of the wedge. If the block is placed at the top of the wedge and the cable supporting the chamber breaks at the same instant the block will The answer says that the block will remain where it was but I have formulated a solution which I have sent as an image attached with the question the block was jumping off the wedge. This option is also given but the book’s answer is different and that is that it will remain where it was. Please sort out the wrong thing I have done on the solution.

As soon as the cable supporting the chamber is broken, it goes in a free fall. Hence the block B experiences no relative gravitational acceleration with respect to the wedge A.Hence it does not slide down the wedge, and remains at the top of wedge.
thank you.
