For reaching start again
s=0
so by motion equation
s=0
so by motion equation
thus t=0 or 2u/a (JUST SOLVE ABOVE EQUATION)
Obviously one solution for t is 0 as at t=0 object is at starting point.
So the next time it will be again at the starting point will be after time=2u/a
So the next time it will be again at the starting point will be after time=2u/a
Thus required answer is 2u/a
