u=0,aceeleration=4/3 and time(t)=3sec. The above all data is given in problemWe have to find out the distance travelled in 3rd second .We can find it out asDistance travelled in 3rd sec. -distance travelled in 2nd sec. And we will use the equationS=ut+1/2at^2S=(0)3+1/2(4/3)(3)^2-(0)2+1/2(4/3)(2)^2S=0+6-8/3S=(18-8)/3=10/3Hence the distance travelled in 3rd sec. Is 10/3m.

use  the formula for displacement in nth second
Sn=u+a/2(2n-1)
here u=0 as it is starting from rest,a=4/3m/s^2
S3=0+4/6(2(3)-1)
S3=4/6(5)
S3=20/6
S3=10/3 m

Dear student,
Please find the solution to your problem.

Using  the formula for displacement in nth second
Sn = u + a/2(2n-1)
here, u = 0 as it is starting from rest, a=4/3m/s2
S3 = 0 + 4/6(2(3) – 1)
S3 = 4/6(5)
S3 = 20/6
S3 = 10/3 m

Thanks and regards,
Kushagra
