Displacement in nth second is given by (1/2)a(2n-1). So displacement in 3rd second is (5/2)a and in 4th sec displacement is (7/2)a. So percentage increase is {[(7/2a)-(5/2a)]/(5/2a)}*100 = 40%.Hope it clears. If u have doubts then please clearify. And if u like my answer then please approve answer
