A particle is projected at an angle 60 degrees with the horizontal with speed 10√3 m/s, from point A, as shown in the figure. At the same time, the wedge is made to move with speed 10√3m/s towards the right as shown in the figure. Then the time after which particle will strike with the wedge is?

u=Velocity of particle
v=Velocity of wedge
Horizontal range of projectile:
R=u2sin2θ/g  
=(10√3)²sin120/g
  
 =(103√)2/g×3/√2  
 =150√3g
Time taken by the particle to strike the wedge:
t=R/v  =150√3/g×110√3   
=15/10   
=1.5 s  ≈ 2 s
Thus,
Time taken by the particle to strike the wedge is 2 second

The final answer is 2 sec but the process is incorrect..its a problem of relative motion and also the angle of inclination of the wedge needs some consideration. So if anyone can find another explanation do share it!
