Man walks 4m north , 3m east and  climbs 12 m can be written as 3i+4j+12k in xyz plane
Using formula for displacement of vector from origin,
Disp.=root

Answer = 13m
According to vector , the equation is exactly 4i + 3j + 12j , to find magnitude take root of 4^2 + 3^2 + 12^2  = 13 so the displacement is 13m
