A man is running uphill with a velocity (2i+3j)m/s w.r.t. ground. He feels that the rain drops are falling vertically with velocity 4m/s . If he runs downhill with same speed find, velocity of rain w.r.t. man

Dear Student,
Relative velocity of man w.r.t ground = (2i+3j) m/sec = √13
 
Velocity of raindrops w.r.t grounf  = 4 m/sec
Relative velocity  = velocity of rain/ velocity of man
                             = 4/√13 m/sec
