A cricket ball thrown from a height of 1.8m at an angle of 30° with the horizontal at a speed of 18m/s is caught by another field`s man at a height of 0.6m from ground .How far were the two men apart?

Dear Student,
Vx= 18cos 30= 9root3
Vy=18sin30=9

h=1.2
=>1.2= Vyt-gt^2/2
=>1.2=9t-5t^2
=>25t^2-45t+6=0
=>t=1.65 or 0.146.
