Dear student,
If the block needs to stick to the vertical screen, then the normal reaction on the block would be given by:
N=ma
For the block to stick, the frictional force should be able to balance the weight of the block, hence:
\mu N=mg\Rightarrow \mu ma=mg\Rightarrow a=\frac{g}{\mu}
