x = 50 + 25 cos 30 = 50 + 21.65 = 71.65 km 
y = 30 + 25 sin 30 = 30 + 12.5 = 42.5 km 

a) magnitude 
L ^2 = √ 71.65 ^2 + 42.5 ^2 = √6940 ---- L = 83.306 km 
b) tg α = 42.5/ 71.65 = 0.59316---- α = 30.675 °
