A boy holds a 40-N weight at arm's length for 10 s. His arm is 1.5 m above the ground. The work done by the force of the boy on the weight while he is holding it is: I am having confusion in this question the solution will be zero or 60
Work done is given by the equation: W=F⋅d ... W=40 N⋅1.5 m. What if the boy walked across the room with the weight held in the position? The boy holds a 40 N weight and takes place by arm length for 10ms.His arm is 1.5m above ground and work done by force is at holding it accordingly
what is the answere of the question is it. zero or 60 as according to me it is zero as it has not displaced froom its position what you guys think of?
Dear student if the boy walked across the room with the weight held in the position described. The work done would still be zero, d would no longer be zero, but the vectors F and d are in perpendicular direction Q = 90 Cos 90 = 0
