    Probaby ur question is incomplete as in general condition u have two options
    1)
    u can apply work energy theorem to calculate the work done by friction.
    work by friction + work by force = change in kinetic energy +change in potential energy.
    in this case change in potential energy=0
    2)
    if u are given coefficent of friction and distance travelled by the body
    then work by friction= – (u)R*x
    here u=coefficent of friction
    R=normal reaction
    x=distance travelled
