A body of mass 10 kg is moving on a horizontal surface by applying a force of 10 N in forward direction. Find the work done by force of friction.

Probaby ur question is incomplete as in general condition u have two options
1) 
u can apply work energy theorem to calculate the work done by friction.
work by friction + work by force = change in kinetic energy +change in potential energy.
in this case change in potential energy=0
2)
if u are given coefficent of friction and distance travelled by the body 
then work by friction= – (u)R*x
here u=coefficent of friction
R=normal reaction
x=distance travelled
