A body is projected from the top of a tower with inital velocity u in horizontal direction. What is the angle between initial velocity and constant acceleration. If 90 degrees then its path should be circular (u is perpendicular to g) but not parabolic. Why

clearly angle is 90 degree but the path is not parabolic we have two methods:                      Ist is of solving the equations that we would get.      For x axis.   X = ut.   (Here t is time).       For y axis. Y=1/2gt^2. Solving these and eliminating t.  We get equation of parabola that is   X^2=2v^2/g*Y. It is the equation of parabola.  Another is therotical
statement that      For the motion to be circular acceleration should be v^2/r but here it is not mentioned such.    Thanks please appprove if right.
