THIS is a question based on the VECTORS.
consider a circle in your mind ,take any point in it as A and let its velocity at that poiny be .\overrightarrow{v1}
as the body moves along the circumferece of the circle, it reaches a point B such that its velocity at that point be \overrightarrow{v2}
change in velocity means difference of velocities v2 and v1.
but it is given that speed remains same throughout the journey.speed is the magnitude of velocity.
therefore in other words we can say that magnitude of velocity remains same.
\therefore \left \| \overrightarrow{v1} \right \|=\left \| \overrightarrow{v2} \right \|=v
\therefore \left \| \overrightarrow{v1} \right \|=\left \| \overrightarrow{v2} \right \|=v\ \therefore \therefore \left \| \overrightarrow{v1} \right \|-\left \| \overrightarrow{v2} \right \|=2v(\sin \Theta /2)
2*v*sin(120/2)=2*v*sin60=2*v*\sqrt{3}/2= v\sqrt{3}. hope u understood....!!!!
