Do not use second eq. of motion directly because distance is asked and not displacement. So first find the time at which its velocity will be zero, which you will get t = 5 s. Now find displacement from t = 0 to t = 5 s. Now find magnitude of displacment from t = 5 to t = 7 s. Now add both the quantities. You will get the ans. 49 m.
