. KEY CONCEPT :
When the stones were in the boat, the weight of stones were balanced by the buoyant force.
Vs ds = Vℓ dℓ
Vℓ, Vs = volue of liquid and stone respectively
Vℓ, Vs = density of liquid and stone respectively
Since, ds > dℓ ∴ Vs < Vℓ
Therefore when stones are put in water, the level of water falls
