a block of mass m is placed on a horizontal surface. If the block is pullewd by applying a force of magnitude F=5mg at an angle theta=37 with horizontal as shoen in fig.6.29, find the acceleration of the block at the given instant

In Horizontal direction  4mg by fcos theta
3mg in upward direction by f sin theta
As vertical force is greater than weight it will lift off 
Therefore acc are 2g in upward direction and 4g in Horizontal
