Mass of the ball = 1kg
Radius = 0.5 m
Force on the ball = mg sin©
(I don't have theta symbol so I'm using this ©)
So force is = 1×9.8×1/2
                    = 4.9N
And torque is = force×radius 
                        = 4.9×0.5
                        = 2.45.
