Velocity time (t) graph ofa body thrown vertically upwardsis created by simply once you perceive the role of gravity within the motion that's occurring.

In the case oncethe ball goes upwards the direction of rate (v)of the ball and therefore thedirection of acceleration of gravityarewithin the opposite directions therefore therate of ball can decrease till it reaches the highest and stops momentarily.

Equation, v = u - gt

Then from theheight position the ballcan begin todescend downwardlybecause of the acceleration because of gravity that's g.

Equation, v = - gt

Here, negative signis because of themotion in downward direction.

Thus, the graph shows the velocity of the ball as a function of time as it goes up and then comes back.657-1968_Annotation 2020-08-19 100851.png
