a ball is throw vertically upward with a veiocity u from the balloon descending with velocity v.after what time,the ball will pass by the balloon

According to the question upward velocity of ball is "u" and downward velocity of balloon is "v" As they are coming near each other so the average velocity will increaseTherefore (v+u).And let the distance be x.The time of interference of each isgiven by =x/(v+u) .Hence this is the answer Hope it help!
