3 blocks of mass 1 kg, 4 kg and 2 kg are placed on a smooth horizontal plane with point of contacts between 1 kg and 4 kg, 4 kg and 2 kg blocks. Force of 120 N is applied on 1 kg block and force of 50 N is applied on 2 kg block. Find the normal force between 1 kg and 4 kg blocks.

In such type of questions first of all find the net force on the system.
Here in the question,
Net force on the system=120-50=70N
(total mass)(accleration)=70
7a = 70
a = 10m/s2
Hence acceleration of the system = 10m/s2
