10g h2 and 64g o2 are taken into a steel vessel and exploded . Calculate the amount of gaseous product after reaction. Here why is h2o formed as water not as vapour?

2H2+O2=> 2H2o
i.e 4g H2 reacts with 32g O2 to give water
now , 64 g of O2 will react with 8g of H2 .
therefore H2 is the excess reagent (10-8=2g) .
vol. of 2 g of hydrogen gas Left is 22.4L / 22400ml/22.4c.dm
