Dear Vardaan

Vy = a

fy =-1

it cross the x axis when its y co -ordinate will be zero

use h =Vy t +1/2fyt2

      0= at -1/2t2

 t=0 or 2a

 t=o indicate initial position so

after t=2a it will cross x axis
