for the given equation to represent two seperate line

h² -ab>0

sec²θ -1>0

sec²θ >1

θ will take all the value except intigral multiple of ∏

seperate lines are

y=m1x           y=m2x

where m1.m2  = [-h ±√h²-ab ]/b

                     = -secθ ±√sec ²θ-1

                     =-secθ ±tanθ
