If a force act to move an object to a distance,we say WORK is done.

POWER is the time rate at which work is done.

ENERGY is the capacity of a physical system to perform work

Energy is the potential to do work and work is energy in action. Rate of supply of energy is power. Energy can be timelessly stored, but when it is applied for a work time is naturally involved in it and power is a natural accompaniment.
