AWOOD OF (DENSITY = 600KG/M3) OF MASS 120KG FLOATS IN WATER.HOM MUCH WEIGHT CAN BE PUT ON THE WOOD TO MAKE IT JUST SINK??

Total Vol of wood = 120/600 = .2 m3

To make it sink, 0.2 m3 of water must be displaced.

Upthrust provided by this much displaced water = 0.2 * 1000 = 200 kg.

So extra weight to be added = 200 - 120 = 80 kg
