Total Vol of wood = 120/600 = .2 m3

To make it sink, 0.2 m3 of water must be displaced.

Upthrust provided by this much displaced water = 0.2 * 1000 = 200 kg.

So extra weight to be added = 200 - 120 = 80 kg

To make it sink,0.2m3 if water must be displaced=0.2*1000=200kg
So extra weight to be added =200-120=80kg
