Approved Tutor Answer13 Years agoyes..due to conservation of angular momentum....due to the formation of tall buildings the moment of inertia of earth about its axis increases and thus the angular momentum decreases...but it is very slight change...

the reason is when tall buildings are constructed on earth its moment of inertia about its axis of rotation increases.
but the anglar momentum of the earth about its axis of rotation remains constant.
therefore its angular velocity decreases.
so tis implies that the earth rotates slowly and hence the length of day night increases.
