it is jut a field of physics which is made to understand the concept of fluids better ,you may not seek the benefit right now ,but can know the concept,and the application of it in entrance exams to get the results. afterall its not a boring chapter,it also not so important as it fetches less marks according to the overall marking scheme.but its useful to shape your concept.hope i helped you.
