Ball A is dropped from rest from a window . At same instant ball B is thrown downwards and ball C is thrown upwards from the same window .which statement concerning the ball is necessarily true if air resistanse is neglected ? and why?

Ans is D.

See for ball 1 initial energy is mgh and similarly for the other two it is mgh+mv^2)/2. So on reaching the ground the three balss will have different velocities and will also take different time. Option 3 is pretty obvious to reject. For D every ball is having the same acceleration as g.
