A rod is placed vertically on a wedge on an inclined angle theta supported by two fixed supports. Find the relation between velocity and accelaration of rod and wedge.ANd what is the difference between Applying newtons laws of motion and Constraint motion.Thanks in advance

i cant tell you the exact relation but this problem involves concept of pseudo force. And instead of proceeding thinking that wedge will acclerate due to the rod assume that wedge has a acceleration a and proceed from wdge to rod.
