What i s Permanent Se in Stress Strain graph.?? My doubt is After the elastic limit, the body will not deform.So Is it actually mean that there is no restoring force??If So then Stress = 0??????
actually uptil OB it elastic region where hooks law is obeyed but after point B plastic region started and deformation started in the wire. Permanent stress means that when we remove any deforming force from a body then the body does not regain its original shape and after elastic limit the body will deform.
