hi, let block C travelled a distance x downwards and so block B trvelled the same distance horizontally work done by gravity= -M1gx P.E of spring= 1/2Kx^2 before the block A starts sliding Kx= #Mg (# is coeff. of friction) work done by gravity= P.E of spring solving both eqns. #= 2M1/M
