Velocity-time graph of a particle moving in a straight line is as 10 shown in figure. Mass of the particle is 20 kg. What is the Work done by all the forces in KJ acting on the particle in time interval between t = 0 to t = 10 s?
(A) 5KJ (B) 8KJ (C) 6KJ (D) 3KJPLS EXPLAIN!!!........my ans is c......but given ans is d..WHY???
Dear Shivam,
The formula for Work done is:
W= F.d .Cos(theta)
where , F= Force
D= Displacement
Cos (thete ) = angle between the displacement and force applied.
And we know F= m.a ;m=mass and a = acceleration
Total work done = work done is 0-5sec + workdone in 5-10s
Thus you will get total work done = 3 KJ.
Best Of luck
