What is the condition of toppling n whn does it takes place?plz explain

For toppling to occur the torque must act on one side and the normal must shift away from the Centre of Mass.

I would rather say that for toppling to occur, the vertical(or mg) from the centre of gravity should lie outside the body. The higher the object ant the less area in contact of body with the plane, more the possibility of toppling since for toppling, tan(theta) >= a/H
