if tap is closed P=density*g*4m

if tap is open, you have to use Bernouilles equation

Consider the level of tap at ground level.

then the height of the water above this tap level is 4m

so the pressure is given by

P=hdg

therfore, P=4*1000*10

P=40000pa=40KPa

It is necessary to specify because if the tap is open the water starts flowing and to calculate pressure we have to use Bernouli theorm
