in a tour de france time trial a cyclist is able to reach a top speed of 100km/hr by starting from rest and pedalling flat out for a distance of 3km.if the rate at which the cyclist's speed changes is uniform,how long will this take?

Since motion is uniform so that s=vt  is applicable so easily. 

 s=vt

3km= 100Km/hr * t

or,3Km*hr/100Km=t

therefore,t=0.03hr or 108second or 1min.48second.
