two particles move parallel to x axis about origin with same amplitude and frequency.at a certain instant they are found at a distance a/3 from origin on opposite sides but their velocities are found to be in same dirction.find the phase difference between two particles

Dear Pankaj,

let origin is thier reference

1st particle is going awy fom origin. so, its phase is [sin inverse (a/3a)] i.e [sin inverse (1/3)]

similarly phase of 2nd particle is  [-sin inverse(1/3)]

 Hence the phase difference between above 2 paricles  is [2sin inverse(1/3)]
