Vcm = [m1v1 + m2v2] / [m1+m2]

       = [(10x14) + (4x0)] / [10+4]

       = 10

Please find below the solution to your problem.

Given : m1​=10kg m2​=4kg
Velocity of mass m1​, v1​=14m/s
Velocity of mass m2​ v2​=0
Velocity of centre of mass
Vcm = [m1v1 + m2v2] / [m1+m2]
= [(10x14) + (4x0)] / [10+4]
= 10
