as it is known that pure rolling is due to the toppling of the roller over the surface in contact...but at the same time the roller is rotating about its central axis (I'com). . .so, my doubt is that is it necessary to have a net torque w.r.t the central axis of roller while pure rolling....or only the torque for surface in contact acts on it??
