the group which exert greater force on the groung will win ....

this is coz when they apply greater force on the ground then ground will also apply greater reaction thus team wins...

this can be compared to the condition when a horse applies a force on ground to move in foreward direction....

greater the force applied by horse , greater will be reaction of surface & hence greater will be accleration....
