A trolley of mass 20 Kg carries 5 kg grain and moves on a horizontal, smooth and straight track at 20 m s-1. If the grain starts leaking out of a hole at the bottom at time t = 0, at rate 0.2 kg m s-1 the speed of the trolley at t = 10 s will be nearest to A) 20 m s-1 B) 25 m s-1 C) 15 m s-1 D) 13.3 m s-1 pls solve this problem...........

Its a conservation of momentum problem.

Momentum of trolley= momentum of grains

On solving we get the answer to be 15 m/s.
