Dear Raj, 

Let the angle be 'theta'.  from conservation of horizontal component of linear momentum, we have

m(vcos(theta)+V)=MV, V= mvcos(theta)/(M-m)

m(vcos(theta)+V)=(M+m)  V
V= mvcos(theta)/(M)
