Similarities:
The magnitude of Speed and velocity of a body are same. The SI unit of both is same as m/s
Differences:
Speed is Scalar quantity while Velocity is Vector quantity.

for a straight line motion in one dimension velocity is equal to speed...
velocity is vector n speed is scalar....
magnitude of velocity is always equal or less than speed....
equal in case of one dimension straight line motion but in any other cases velocity is smaller than speed in magnitude...
