A far as i know....all the planetry body...are considered to be revolving in ellipse...with sun located on one of the focus....
And this is assumed by considering Kepler's law....
According to his law and principle....and all the consideration....such type of motion in heavenly bodies is assumed....so don't pull up your hair....for this...it is qualitayivly defined
