it is not the type of friction that produces electromagnetic force, rather it is the materials on which friction is applied. The materials which produses electromagnetiv force under the action of force or friction are known as piezo-electric substance. The black coulred tape in a cassete, which when pressed by the pin of the player produces music, is one of the many example of such substances.
